For many years, I have been committed to strengthening our community through volunteer leadership, public service, education, and event coordination. I believe that strong communities are built through people who are willing to step forward, work together, and give back.
Whether organizing family events, supporting youth programs, teaching lifesaving skills, or serving on nonprofit and community boards, I have dedicated my time to helping create opportunities that bring people together and make our communities safer, stronger, and more connected.

Oregon Fire Service Office Administrators (OFSOA)
Website Chair and Board Member | 2024-Present
As Website Chair for the Oregon Fire Service Office Administrators, I help manage and maintain the organization’s website, support member communications, and assist with conference registration and online resources that serve fire service administrative professionals throughout Oregon
Central Coast Fire Volunteer Association
Secretary | 2021-2025
As Secretary of the Central Coast Fire Volunteer Association, I worked alongside fellow board members to support the organization’s mission, maintain records, coordinate activities, and help guide volunteer initiatives that benefit our local community.
Yachats Chamber of Commerce
Board Secretary | 2012-2013
Served as Secretary for the Yachats Chamber Board, helping support local businesses, community programs, tourism initiatives, and economic development efforts.
Waldport Beachcomber Days
Treasurer | 2019-2020
Served as Treasurer while assisting with event planning and operations for one of Waldport’s signature community celebrations. Although the event was ultimately impacted by COVID-19, I remained actively involved in supporting planning efforts and organizational operations.
Community Outreach & Public Service
Community Outreach Coordinator
Central Coast Fire & Rescue | 2021-Present
Working with Central Coast Fire & Rescue, I help build connections between the fire district and the community through educational programs, school partnerships, and public events. My efforts focus on creating positive relationships while promoting safety, preparedness, and community engagement.
Highlights Include:
National Night Out
Helping organize and support National Night Out activities that strengthen relationships between public safety agencies and community members.
Community Events
Coordinating participation in local events such as preparedness fairs, fishing derbies, and other community gatherings.
School Partnerships
Working with local schools to organize station tours, educational visits, assemblies, and special events.
Student Sports Escorts
Coordinating fire apparatus escorts to celebrate and support local student athletes and school spirit.
CERT & Teen CERT Instructor
Supporting Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programs and Teen CERT training by teaching emergency medical services topics and fire extinguisher safety skills.
Community Events & Family Programs
One of my favorite ways to serve is by helping create events that bring people together. Through the Central Coast Fire Volunteer Association, I have helped organize and support numerous community programs that create opportunities for families, volunteers, and local organizations to connect.
Holiday Open House
Helping organize a free holiday event featuring photos with Santa and festive activities for local children and families. The event provides a welcoming space where community members can gather and celebrate the season together.
Operation Santa
Supporting the annual Operation Santa food drive and helping Santa visit neighborhoods throughout the community, bringing holiday cheer while supporting local families in need.
Boo Crew
Supporting Waldport’s fall festivities and Trunk-or-Treat activities, helping create a safe and fun Halloween experience for local families and children.
Sparkle Squad
Participating in and helping support the annual Christmas Light Parade, creating a festive community tradition enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.
Bingo Fundraiser
Helping organize and operate monthly bingo fundraisers that support youth scholarship programs and community initiatives.
Giving Back Through Service
Community is built by people who are willing to volunteer, lead, and show up when their neighbors need them. Throughout my years of service, I have been proud to contribute my time to organizations, programs, and events that make our communities stronger and more connected.
