This week I’m attending the Oregon Fire Service Office Administrators (OFSOA) Annual Conference in my roles as an Office Administrator and a member of the OFSOA Board of Directors.
One of the things I value most about public service is that there is always something new to learn. The best leaders never stop looking for ways to grow, improve, and better serve their communities.
I’m especially excited about this year’s sessions, which include a deep dive into Basic Local Budget Law and Project Management. Both topics play an important role in helping public organizations operate effectively, responsibly, and transparently.
I’m looking forward to learning from experts, connecting with colleagues from around the state, and bringing back ideas and knowledge that can benefit the organizations and communities I serve.
I’ll try to share a few highlights throughout the week for anyone interested in what I’m learning.
Have a great week, everyone!
